WMA Rd. 2
June 7th and 8th was the 2nd round of the WMA nationals and it was also the first time that the women got to race the Freestone track in Texas. The track ended up being really fun and the weather was VERY hot. I ended up having a bad weekend but tried to make the best of it. In the first moto I got a 3rd place start and on the first lap I made lots of mistakes. At the end of the moto I ended up coming across the finish line at 10th place. Our second moto was Sunday morning so I was able to get a good night of sleep and re-think everything that went on that day. I ended up getting around a 4th place start and once again made some mistakes on the first lap and when the checked flag came out I was in 7th. I ended up going 10-7 for 7th overall. Our next race will be June 28-29 in Lakewood, Co.

WMA Rd. 1

This last weekend May 31 and June 1 was round one of the WMA nationals at Hangtown. We practiced at 12:30 and I felt good on the track and ready to race. At 4:05 was our first moto and I knew the track was going to be very rough because we rode at the end of the day after all the guys. I ended up getting a great start and was in 2nd place and then the bad came. I jumped one of the step-ups and when I landed I hit a breaking bump and my shoulder popped out.  The first thing I thought was I was done. I ended up riding over to the next flagger and had him lift my arm up and it popped back in. I was then able to finish the race where I went from 22nd to 5th. For everything that happend that moto I was pretty happy with a 5th.

The second moto was Sunday at intermission to the mens race. I was pretty sore from my shoulder so I didn't know what to expect. I ended up getting another good start, I think around 4th, and rode the best that I could the hole moto but was only able to finish in 6th. I ended up going 5-6 for 7th overall which was not a good start to the series for me. I wasn't the only girl that had problems at the first round and because of that I'm still in the points hunt. Anyways right now I'm on my way to Texas for round 2 of the WMA Nationals. See everyone at the track!!!

WMA Rd. 1
This coming weekend May 31 and June 1 is round 1 of the WMA nationals at Hangtown in sacramento, CA. I have been training really hard over the past few months to get ready for this race and I'm really looking forward to it. I hope to see everyone out there. It will also be the 2nd round of the AMA toyota motocross nationals and Brad will be racing in the lites class so good luck to him also!!!!!!!!!!

Infineon Raceway

This past weekend May 16-18 I raced at Infinoen Raceway in Sonoma, California for the 1st Wine Country Motocross. The track was great and I had a really fun weekend. I ended up getting 2nd place in the Womens class to Jessica Patterson. Right now I'm on my way to Glen Helen to watch the first round of the AMA nationals. Then, next week is the first round of the WMA nationals at Hangtown!
